Gun Training For Teachers At Front Sight

Front Sight Firearms Training Institute has long been the opinion leader for all of the gun training schools in America. But that's to be expected. So it makes sense that when the founder and director of Front Sight, Dr. Ignatius Piazza – a former California chiropractor – speaks up, the firearms training industry listens.

For years, Dr. Piazza has been at the forefront of trying to get gun training into the hands of those who need it most. After the Columbine shootings, his viewpoint was that firearms training should be given to teachers. After September 11th, his view was that gun training should be delivered to commercial pilots, so that they never need be the victims of terrorists ever again.

Students are scared of their math teachers as it is, who wouldn't be terrified at the thought of one of the their algebra teachers packing a Glock? They certainly wouldn't be interested in trying to attack or shoot anyone if the teacher they're in the room with could draw on them faster!
